In order to fully understand and adopt what I have chosen for my future career, I have decided to challenge myself with a senior project that focuses on the programming part of Computer Science.

I proposed to design and publish a    app for both Android and Apple that could be used to find NGOs all over Guayaquil and donate to said NGOs. In order to successfully accomplish this project, I had to undergo a thorough investigation that allowed me to gain enough knowledge needed to code an app and use it for my service project.

For the research portion of my project, I wrote a research paper regarding the benefits of NGOs using technology such as websites and apps to improve the success of their cause. This research was important since it provided evidence that the app I would make could be successful.

After having finished every portion of my Senior Project, I learned how difficult the career I would follow would be and the dedication it takes to program. However, I am willing to take the challenge since I find it interesting and rewarding knowing that a piece of technology, such as an app or website, made by me could have an impact on the world today.
